Technology. Products. Ventures.

I have built and scaled a few technology products and companies, and work with organizations of all sizes to drive strategy, product development, and commercialization across AI, fintech, media, and data platforms. Not all of them worked out, but that's how you learn.

Built with Claude in 28 Days

Four Ventures, a Daily AI Comic Strip, and the Non-Technical Founder's Playbook

While building the projects showcased below, I kept a diary of every decision, every failure, and every workaround. This book is the byproduct of those notes: a practical account of using Claude and Anthropic's tools as your technical partner to build, scale, debug, and ship products that would have otherwise required months, a team, and a lot more money.

Every conversation. Every dead end. Every lesson. If you're considering taking the plunge, this might help.

Background

The short version

I'm a mechanical engineer by training, with a Master of Engineering Management from the University of Colorado at Boulder and an MBA from York University's Schulich School of Business. I also completed the Program on Negotiation and Leadership at Harvard.

My career has moved between building my own companies and working inside large ones. I've co-founded four ventures with two exits, and held senior roles at TELUS and Bell Canada, among others. Earlier I worked in with heavy machinery at Husky Injection Moulding and Fiat Avio (now Siemens), Ingersoll Dresser Pumps, as well as with a Honeywell & Allen Bradley system integrator for the Oil & Gas sector.

More recently I've focused on advisory work -- supporting venture-backed companies across AI, fintech, and media with strategy, product development, and commercial scaling.

Fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian. Two US patent applications, one issued. Based in Toronto.
