Rodrigo has led the development and commercialization of digital initiatives in areas of technology, media, telecommunications and payments at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, TELUS, Bell Canada and others. He is comfortable working with small, medium and within large enterprises. Prior to his MBA he worked with leading engineering/manufacturing companies including Husky Injection Moulding Systems, Fiat Avio (now Siemens), and others.
Rodrigo’s has unique strengths on strategy development (setting objectives and a game plan in very complex organizations), product development/management (building, managing and scaling products), and sales/business development (closing the loop of strategy-product development-revenue cycles)
He holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, (Class Rank 3rd out of 49) from the Central University of Venezuela, a Master of Engineering Management (R&D Management track) from the Lockheed Martin Engineering Management Program at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and an M.B.A. (Strategy & Entrepreneurship) from York University’s Schulich School of Business. He has also completed the Program on Negotiation & Leadership from Harvard University. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian, is a World Bank Graduate Fellowship Recipient and a Canadian “Top 40 under 40” nominee.
